Ray told People that White gave birth to a daughter named London on Thursday (May 24).
"Baby London is here. Our girl came in at 6.41pm and is 8lbs, 12 oz," Ray said, adding: "Both [mother and child] are healthy as well."
Ray further explained that he and White chose the name London as an homage to his English parents.
The couple first announced that they were expecting a child in January, with White saying that the news came as a "happy surprise".
White finished fifth in the seventh season of American Idol, which was ultimately won by David Cook.
