Soccer Aid: Will Ferrell, Edward Norton, Olly Murs talk before match

Will Ferrell and Edward Norton are among the stars who have shared their excitement ahead of tonight's Soccer Aid.

The Hollywood actors will take part in tonight's charity football match at Old Trafford, which kicks off at 8pm on ITV1.



Upon arriving at the stadium, Ferrell joked: "I'm very excited to be here, I'm a little disappointed. I thought we were playing at New Trafford. We've been relegated to Old Trafford, but this'll do."

He later added: "This is going to be one of the more exciting things that I'll ever do." He also stated that his goal celebration will likely get him "deported".

Norton said: "Woody Harrelson scored the winning penalty last year and that struck a chord with a lot of his American friends."

Gerard Butler told host Dermot O'Leary: "This is amazing, this is the most famous ground in the world other than Celtic Park. The atmosphere is unbeatable. I'm excited and nervous but ready to go."

For the England team, Olly Murs said: "There's more pressure this time. We've come here defeated last year."

Comedian John Bishop, standing with Murs and Take That's Mark Owen, said: "It's a brilliant crowd, the ground is fantastic. We've set up our own boyband. At halftime we've got our first gig."

Organiser Robbie Williams has stated that he has injured his back, meaning he may only be able to play a short amount of time.
