By
Beyoncé has revealed that she spent months getting in shape for her comeback concert in Atlantic City, NJ this past weekend.

The 'Love on Top' singer, who gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter in January, told the crowd at Saturday's (May 26) engagement that she lost 60 pounds in preparation for her comeback performances, according to Us Weekly.

Beyoncé talks about her comeback show at Revel Casino.

"Y'all have no idea how hard I worked!" Beyoncé said. "I had to lose 60 pounds. They had me on that treadmill. I ate lettuce!"

"Now tonight I'm gonna get chocolate wasted!" she added.

Saturday night's performance was a part of a four-date concert series taking place at Revel Beach's Ovation Hall over the course of Memorial Day weekend.

On Friday night (May 25), Beyoncé paid tribute to Whitney Houston and Donna Summer by singing 'I Will Always Love You' and 'Love to Love You Baby'.

The 30-year-old previously confessed that she was nervous about making her return to the stage.
