During the match, Ramsay and Ferrell played on a 'Rest of the World' team with the likes of Edward Norton, Mike Myers, Gerard Butler, Woody Harrelson and Michael Sheen.
They lost 3-1 against an England team which included Take That's Mark Owen, JLS members Marvin Humes and Aston Merrygold, and former England and Arsenal player David Seaman.
Ramsay was given oxygen and later removed from the field on a stretcher after he was hit from behind by former Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United player Teddy Sheringham.
Later, Anchorman and Casa de mi Padre star Ferrell was forced to leave the game when he sustained an injury to his leg that left him limping badly.
The event, organised by singer Robbie Williams, managed to raise $6.4 million (£4.08 million).
