Miranda Lambert rescues another dog

Miranda Lambert has revealed that she has rescued another dog.

The singer, who is married to Blake Shelton, announced the "new addition" on her Twitter page.



"Ok ok I know I need to stop," she wrote. "But she was in a ditch!"

Lambert named the dog Emmy Lou and posted several photographs of her, before appearing to suggest that she had handed her over to her friend to look after.

Uploading a picture, she wrote: "Emmylou and her new mommy! My BFF Vicki!"

Lambert also recently posted a photograph of herself holding a frog, joking: "They just come to me! I'm an animal magnet!"

Lambert recently picked up four nominations for the CMT Music Awards, which will be held in Nashville on June 6.
