The actress, who played Lavender Brown in the Harry Potter movies, takes Bookworm to the festival this August.
Cave's show centres around her 'non-fictional but fictional book club' 'Bookworms United' and explores the finest female literary characters, from elephants to computer-hacking vampires.
The show runs at Underbelly Cowgate from August 4 to 26 (not 13) at 2.30pm. There are preview shows on August 2 and 3.
Tickets are priced at £10 and £9 and at £6 for the preview shows and are available now.
Cave will appear in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire director Mike Newell's adaptation of Charles Dickens's Great Expectations alongside Helena Bonham-Carter, Ralph Fiennes and Jeremy Irvine, which is due for release in autumn 2012.
