Sharon Osbourne has decided to have her gastric band removed at the end of this year.
The X Factor judge lost nearly 10 stone in 1999, when she underwent the surgery. However, she has made a considered decision to concentrate on therapy, and hopes this will be enough to limit her weight gain.
She told People: "I have to figure out why I do what I do to myself. I think I have some sort of self-destruction button. I keep trying to eat more and more... I'm a pig!"
Osbourne will have the band, which is designed to limit food consumption, in America this December.
