The Lost star was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on May 5.
Fox struck a plea deal with the court in order to avoid prison. Consequently, his driving privileges have been revoked for a year and he cannot consume alcohol during that time.
In addition, he has been mandated to attend a drug and alcohol treatment programme.
Fox was recently accused of beating women by his former Lost co-star Dominic Monaghan. His friends have denied the claims.
The actor was previously accused of repeatedly striking a female party bus driver outside an Ohio bar. The case has since been dropped.
