Tarrant gives wife timely peace offering

Chris Tarrant has reportedly attempted to make peace with his estranged wife by buying her a Tiffany watch.
Hello states that the quiz show host gave the present, worth £1,225, to Ingrid Tarrant on her 52nd birthday in a bid to ensure their divorce goes smoothly.
A friend of the couple told the magazine: "He's very keen to get back on proper speaking terms with Ingrid... [and] wants divorce proceedings to go smoothly and is prepared to bend over backwards to be fair."
