Howard Stern's long-time newswoman made her first live radio appearance in weeks on Monday's episode of The Howard Stern Show on Sirius XM.
Quivers chose to keep major details of her recent surgery private, but did tell Stern that doctors have given her a positive prognosis.
"I had a major surgery, a major abdominal surgery -- and a mass was removed from my pelvic area and I do have some more recovery to do, but everything seems to be fine," she said.
The news presenter was not actually in the studio for the broadcast, rather joining Stern from her home via a satellite link-up.
Quivers said of her future on The Howard Stern Show: "Now that I'm doing this [broadcast from home], I [feel like I] could probably be in the studio [soon]."
Quivers, who was the victim of a hit-and-run car crash last summer, has worked with Stern for 31 years.
