Following four days of public holidays, the monarch will hold the event at Marlborough House, on Pall Mall.
Invited guests include heads of government and representatives of the Commonwealth, while the Duke of Edinburgh will not attend as he remains in hospital with a bladder infection.
The Queen's Diamond jubilee celebrations have included a pop concert, a special service at St Paul's Cathedral, a river pageant and a fly-past of WWII aircraft and the Red Arrows.
Yesterday, the Queen recorded a special message of thanks to the nation.
"The events that I have attended to mark my Diamond Jubilee have been a humbling experience," she said.
"It has touched me deeply to see so many thousands of families, neighbours and friends celebrating together in such a happy atmosphere."
