The glass-sided carriage will be pulled by four horses, reports The Mirror.

The Gibb family said in a statement: "At his wish, he will say a final goodbye to fans and his hometown of Thame, Oxon, this Friday prior to the funeral."

The carriage will leave Priests End in the town at around 1.30pm, before travelling along the High Street to the town hall. It will then return from the High Street to St Mary's Church for the funeral service.

The family have requested charity donations to children's charities the Rebecca House Hospice and Wish Upon A Dream as they were "close to his heart".

Bee Gees track 'I Started a Joke' and Gibb's recent Titanic Requiem song 'Don't Cry Alone' will reportedly be played during the service.

A memorial for Robin Gibb will also be held at St Paul's Cathedral later this year.
