CMT Music Awards 2012: Red carpet pictures - gallery

The CMT Music Awards 2012 were held in Nashville last night and were attended by stars such as Carrie Underwood and Lady Antebellum.

The ceremony, which was hosted by Toby Keith and Kristen Bell, saw Barack Obama and Mitt Romney appearing in the opening skit.

Performances came from acts such as Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney and Pistol Annies, while Underwood and Miranda Lambert were among the winners on the night.
