A funeral procession was held prior to the funeral which took place today (June 8), led by Robin's mother Barbara and his brother and bandmate Barry Gibb.

The late singer's coffin was adorned with red roses and carried in a glass carriage drawn by horses. Widow Dwina and sons Spencer and RJ Gibb were among those in the procession, while hundreds of fans lined the route in the music legend's hometown.

Air cadets of the 594 Thame Squadron formed a guard of honour for Gibb, as his coffin was transported into St Mary's Church.

Gibb was later buried near a memorial dedicated to his younger brother Andy Gibb, who passed away in 1988.
