Bob Marley honoured with plaque
Reggae star Bob Marley has been honoured with a commemorative plaque at his former home in Camden, London.

The plaque is the first to be officially endorsed by the mayor and is part of Black History Month, a season of events promoting the contribution of African-Caribbean communities in London.

The wife of the famous singer, Rita Marley, said "My husband's music is loved all around the world although he had a special affinity with London.

"The family is pleased that he is being honoured with a commemorative plaque in London and we truly look forward to seeing it the next time we are in London...One love."

The Mayor of London, Ken Livingstone also commented, saying "Like many people I have appreciated and admired the work of Bob Marley for decades. He was quite simply a musical genius and he remains a much-loved, iconic reggae artist."
