Bristol Palin is being sued by the man who heckled her in a Los Angeles bar last fall.
Palin became involved in an altercation with Stephen Hanks at the popular Saddle Ranch last September when Hanks referred to Bristol's mother Sarah Palin as a "wh*re" and "the devil".
The verbal clash, which was captured on video by an on-looker, became heated when Palin accused Hanks of being a "homosexual" and the two had to be pulled apart by friends.
Hanks later apologised for his role in the altercation, but he has now charged Palin with damaging his career and reputation in a new lawsuit.
The suit alleges that Palin's reality show crew filmed the incident and aired clips in promotion of the new Lifetime series Life's A Tripp without his permission, reports TMZ.
Hanks also denies Palin's claims to the press that the argument convinced her to move back to Alaska, citing information that she actually purchased a home in the state prior to their clash.
He is seeking unspecified damages from both Palin and Lifetime's parent network A&E.
Palin's reality series Life's A Tripp premieres June 19 at 10/9c on Lifetime.
