"Point gained," he tweeted. "Bravo England eventhough u give me 3 kinds of bowel disease watching you #England #LoveLescott #1stKlingonAtEuros."
When followers pointed out the nature of Lescott's injury, Djalilli added the following day: "Like to apologise to Joleon Lescott if any tweets made last night caused offence. No idea he's been injured in a car accident aged 5.
"Shouldn't make remarks about people's appearance wether they've been injured or not. Come on England!"
Djalili is currently appearing in What The Butler Saw at London's Vaudeville Theatre and earlier this month helped present Diamond Jubilee extravaganza All The Queen's Horses.
He also reached the final of Let's Dance For Sport Relief in March.
