Jada Pinkett Smith: 'Will Smith is the best father in the world'

Jada Pinkett Smith has praised husband Will Smith for being the "the best father in the world."

The Matrix: Revolutions star is gearing up to celebrate her 15th wedding anniversary with Smith in October.



She told Essence that over the years she has become more impressed by his parenting with daughter Willow and son Jaden.

"There are some men who feel like, 'Listen, I take care of the house and the home. That's all I need to do'," Pinkett Smith explained. "What makes Will the best father in the world to me is that he's there, not just there in a way that's traditional. The emotional support he offers his children is immeasurable."

Raised by a single mother, the 40-year-old actress has said that she especially appreciates the father-daughter relationship the Men in Black 3 star has with Willow.

"For a little girl to be in partnership with her father in that way brings tears to my eyes every time because I feel like every little girl in the world deserves that," she added.

The actress currently stars in the animated feature Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted alongside voice talent including David Schwimmer and Chris Rock.
