Smith gives first interview since tragedy

Anna Nicole Smith has given her first interview since the tragic death of her twenty year old son last month.

Daniel Wayne was found dead in his mother's hospital room just hours after she had given birth to her baby daughter Dannilyn. He died from a cocktail of drugs in his system.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Smith has virtually become a prisoner in her own home.

A reporter for the US TV show wrote, "...the fear of constant paparazzi attention keeps Anna and her support team locked up, blinds drawn and constantly aware that prying eyes are trying to snap photos."

The ex-model reportedly remains calm throughout the interview but "crumbles like a house of cards, tears pouring out of her eyes" when asked about her son.

The interview will be broadcast on Thursday, October 2.
