The collaboration between Compassion In World Farming (CIWP), the World Society for the Protection of Animals (WSPA) and ice cream makers Ben & Jerry's aims to boost the welfare of dairy cows in the UK and Europe.
"For the first time ever, European citizens have been given the right to have a say on issues they care about and attempt to influence policy," explained CIWP.
"In April 2012, the European Union brought in a rule called the European Citizens' Initiative, which gives Europeans the power to propose new legislation on a specific issue.
"All that is needed is a minimum of 1 million signatures from around the EU. We love our cows and want to see specific legislation at EU level that makes Europe's cows happy!"
Boadicea took over Kings Cross Station today (June 20) with a flashmob to show their backing for the campaign.
Further information about the campaign and a petition can be found at the Supporting Better Dairy website.
