Michael bought the piano, which is an upright model rather than the grand piano featured in the video, for a sum of £1.67 million at an auction in 2000.
The exhibition in Dallas, Texas is run by George Michael's long-term partner Kenny Goss.
Goss told the Reuters news agency that there was "no better place to reiterate how important peace is".
He went on saying, "Dallas is George Bush's home. It's a great place to remind people how important it is that we find peace."
