The director opened up about his feelings on the press after his To Rome with Love star Alec Baldwin tussled with a photographer in New York earlier this week.

"I know a lot of paparazzi, and they're very nice guys and they can be fun," Allen told the New York Daily News.
"But when they step over the line and they're mobbing your children or flashing bulbs in your face relentlessly, you know, then it becomes not a civil intercourse between the celebrity and the guys that earn their living that way," he continued.
On Wednesday (June 20) Baldwin denied reports that he attacked the photographer, claiming that he simply pushed the paparazzo away from him.
