Actress Marg Helgenberger announced the new inductees during a press conference on Friday (June 22), reports WENN.

The Queen Oscar winner joins a list of movie and television stars including Viola Davis, James Franco, Javier Bardem, Ellen DeGeneres, Matthew Perry and Jane Lynch.
Luther Vandross and Janis Joplin will receive posthumous stars on the famous landmark, while Usher, Jane's Addiction and Jennifer Hudson will also be among the musicians honoured.
Olympia Dukakis and comedy duo Penn & Teller will receive further stars in the genre of Theater/Performance.
Mirren recently loaned her vocal talents to an episode of Glee alongside fellow inductee Lynch.
