The comedian checked into the Oasis Treatment Centre on Tuesday (June 26), after an intervention was held during filming for his internet talk show Andy Dick Live.
According to Celebuzz, Dick's producer Alki David warned the troubled star to either clean up or quit the show.
David said: "I told you the other day, if this continues, we can't carry on. And if you decide to leave and not do that (check into rehab), I'm afraid that we can't carry on here together."
The former NewsRadio star admitted to "ups and downs" in his journey to sobriety, and agreed to check into a rehab facility.
Dick, 46, has been in and out of treatment over the last decade, and has had numerous legal troubles as a result of his substance abuse.
In 2011, he went on trial for sexual assault, after allegations that he had groped and forcibly kissed a bartender at a West Virginia club.
