P Diddy has told journalists he can no longer be defined in terms of wealth or "bling".

The rapper, speaking at a press conference during the recent MTV Europe Music Awards, explained: "I don't compete with anyone, I just do the best I can.

"I think it's time to realise I have a positive impact, but I can't be defined by jewellery or money, I just do what I do."

Diddy also noted that there was "no competition" between the US stars attending the show, as "we're here to support each other...it's all love".
