Houston was found dead in her Beverly Hills hotel room in February. A toxicology report later revealed that she had a mixture of cocaine, Benadryl, Xanax, marijuana and Flexiril in her system.
According to The Mirror, Houston's apparent confidant of 23 years Raffles van Exel claims that the Bodyguard star made a prophecy of her own demise months before it happened.
Van Exel said: "She kept talking about leaving America. I thought she meant Switzerland, where she'd talked about living.
"Now I realise she meant she was leaving this world."
Van Exel also claimed that he was present on the day the 'I Will Always Love You' singer was found.
"I saw Whitney lying on the floor with her bodyguard who'd lifted her out, trying to give her CPR," he added. "She was totally naked. I got a towel and placed it over her navel.
"[The paramedics] moved her from the bathroom to the living area. I helped one of the detectives move a sofa to make room."
Houston's last film Sparkle is due for release later this year.
