Celine Dion is reportedly being sued by an ex-employee.

Keith Sturtevant filed the suit yesterday (June 28), claiming that the singer and husband René Angélil owe him wages for overtime.

The handyman was apparently hired as a "warehouse manager" in March 2009, but regularly performed maintenance work at the couple's Florida mansion.

Sturtevant says he fixed ice makers, cleaned house shutters, built stages and ran errands for the pair, TMZ reports.

The suit alleges they "improperly and illegally designated [Sturtevant] as an exempt employee", meaning they simply gave him the "manager" title to avoid paying him overtime.

Sturtevant claims he "did not have the power to hire or fire employees" and is owed wages because he regularly worked over 40 hours per week.

The suit alleges that Dion and Angélil improperly listed other workers as "exempt employees" as well.

The couple are yet to respond to the claims.
