Monty Python star Terry Jones says he "fully recovered" just nine days after undergoing surgery for bowel cancer.
"I feel great," he told the Daily Mail yesterday. "I've fully recovered. It's miraculous. They got it early and the operation went well. It's amazing really. I'm already going for walks on the (Hampstead) Heath and pints in the pub."
Jodi Shield - Jones's agent - reiterated the good prognosis for the comedian turned writer: "His surgeon is fairly confident - they think they've got it early enough. He's in great spirits. We're having to make him stop working."
