The former Biggest Loser trainer woke up on Tuesday to discover that the keys to her car were missing, according to E! Online.
When she looked outside, she realised the Bentley was gone as well.
Michaels contacted the police, who later spotted the vehicle being driven. A chase began that resulted in the suspect crashing the car into a light pole.
The suspect is currently in custody.
Michaels recently finalised her adoption of her 2-year-old daughter Lukensia.
The trainer adopted Lukensia the same week her partner Heidi Rhoades gave birth to their son Phoenix.
