Courtney Love's publicist has dismissed a new lawsuit from the singer's ex-assistant, describing her complaints as those of a brushed off a "disgruntled ex-employee".

LaBrie argues that Love witheld her salary from her because she had declined to "commit fraudulent, unlawful, and unethical acts" for the musician.

Working for Love between June 2010 and July 2011, LaBrie alleges that she was told to hire a computer hacker to change business records during that time.

However Love's publicist Steve Honig has released a statement blasting the suit, saying: "The allegations are completely unfounded and are being made with malice by a disgruntled former employee."

LaBrie has yet to respond to the statement.
