Tim Minchin, Sean Lock for V Festival Glee Club Comedy Tent

Tim Minchin and Sean Lock have been announced for this year's V Festival.

The comedians will play the Glee Club Comedy Tent lineup on August 18 and 19 at Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire.



Lock said: "I'm very excited about playing V Festival, as I'm convinced it will be the first rain-free festival we've had all summer… Looking forward to it immensely."

Other artists on the comedy bill include Doc Brown, Rob Rouse, Gary Delaney and Mock the Week regular Milton Jones.

Justin Moorhouse and Kevin McCarthy will MC over the weekend.

This year's V Festival is headlined by The Stone Roses and The Killers and features sets from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Bids, Snow Patrol, Nicki Minaj, David Guetta and others.
