Urban magic video - Von Majik shows off his skills

Urban magician Von Majik has released a new video showing off his close-up tricks.

In the clip, he demonstrates various illusions with the aid of a HTC One X mobile phone handset.



Born Troy von Scheibner of German and Jamaican heritage, Von Majik was inspired by a David Blaine TV special and watched it over and over again until he learnt his tricks.

He later joined the Magic Circle's youth initiative and went on to win the 'Young Close-Up Magician of the Year' gong at 15.

Von Majik has recently performed for celebrities including Tinchy Stryder, James Corden and Thandie Newton.

In a video from earlier this year, the magician showed off his phone's slow-motion feature to help fans see his close-up work in more detail.
