Oprah not invited to Cruise wedding

Oprah Winfrey admits she has not been invited to Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding.

Cruise famously appeared on Winfrey's chat show to declare his love for his fiancee, but the couple have not included the presenter in their guest list.

Winfrey said: "It's not that I'm not going. It's that they had a limited number of people that they could invite. I was not one of the invitees. That's fine. I don't get invited to everyone's wedding. I don't invite them to everything I do. But I wish them the best".

Winfrey added that she still held the couple in high regard, and would be buying a gift for the ceremony: "I have a great deal of regard for their relationship and so I'm trying to think of what to get them."

Cruise and Holmes are currently in Italy preparing for their marriage.
