David Blaine is to announce the full details of his latest stunt at the end of this week.
The illusionist will suspend himself above Time Square in New York, and attempt to escape from the chains that bind him.
The stunt will be run in association with the Salvation Army, with proceeds going towards needy children if he is successful.
The official announcement will be made in New York, this Friday at 11am.
