Deadline reports that the US president will fly to Aurora, Colorado today (July 22), where he will meet with family members of those killed.
The arrival and departure of the president on Air Force One will reportedly be closed to the public.
Obama addressed the shooting in a recent public address, describing the act as "evil and senseless".
He added: "The federal government is ready to do whatever is necessary to bring whoever's responsible for this heinous crime to justice."
James Holmes, the suspected shooter in the attack, is currently in police custody.
