Tom Daley: 'I'd star in a One Direction video'

Tom Daley has said that he would be happy to appear in a One Direction video.

The Olympic bronze medal-winning diver told Heat that he would need advice from his crush Cheryl Cole if he were to perform in a clip.



"I've met them all and I'm in contact with most of them," Daley said of One Direction.

"They're all really nice guys. Louis [Tomlinson] came and watched the [London 2012 Olympics 10 metre diving] final. Liam [Payne] wanted to but couldn't get tickets."

He added: "If they ever need me for a music video, I'll go in the background and do a bit of clicking. I'm not a singer though. Cheryl will need to teach me to sing and dance."

In the same interview, Daley said that he would have to pick his Olympic medal over a kiss from Cole because he "worked for ten years for that".



"Cheryl has only been on my mind for the last two or three," he said, while adding that he did not have "a hope in hell" of dating the Girls Aloud star.

Asked about Cole's swan dive on The Voice UK, Daley said: "It was good.

"If she'd have done it into water it would have hurt, because she would have landed flat on her stomach, but, you know, we can work on that."
