Papers are reportedly being drafted up to take legal authority over Prince, 15, Paris, 14 and 10-year-old Blanket now that their grandmother has gone to Arizona to stay with other members of the family, leaving them without supervision.
Sources have explained that the executors feel a responsibility to the children as the primary beneficiaries of Michael's estate and are planning to file for guardianship within days.
It has been alleged by TMZ that Katherine's sudden departure is related to concerns from Michael's siblings Janet, Jermaine, Randy, Rebbie and Tito about the authenticity of the singer's will.
Jermaine recently insisted that his mother went to Arizona to "de-stress", but the website has suggested that the family are attempting to convince the 82-year-old that Michael's executors need to be ousted and potentially replaced by Randy, although this scenario has been branded highly unlikely.
Paris has stated on Twitter that she feels "something is really off" about Katherine's departure and wrote this afternoon (July 24) that after nine days without speaking to her grandmother she will "make whoever did this pay".
It has also emerged that "a physical altercation" involving members of the Jackson family recently took place at Katherine's home.
