A replica of the fastest man in the world performing his signature pose was introduced to the iconic tourist attraction this week.

Bolt, who won three gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, was described by a Madame Tussauds manager as the "perfect addition" to the venue.

The sprinter's waxwork joins the previously-unveiled models of a number of Team GB stars, including Tom Daley and Jessica Ennis.

Bolt's likeness was previously placed outside Heathrow's Terminal 5 to welcome visitors arriving in London for the Games, which kick off this Friday (July 27).

Though the athlete's waxwork has been pleasing visitors at Tussauds, the real-life Bolt disappointed fans from the West Midlands yesterday (July 24) when he failed to show at training for the Jamaican track and field team in Birmingham.
