In an interview with Parade, Bruce joked that his legacy will likely be starring with wife Kris Jenner and her daughters in reality shows.
"There's a huge audience who only know me as Kim [Kardashian's] stepdad, which is fine. Being a dad is more important than winning the Olympic Games," he said.
Bruce added that he does look back fondly on his years as an Olympic stand-out.
"The Games are so unique - you take on the world," he explained, adding: "Reality TV is not that big a deal, but it does bring you fame."
The London Olympic Games kick off on Friday, July 27 with Danny Boyle's 'Isles of Wonder' opening ceremony.
