Nick Lachey: Vanessa and I are trying to enjoy our last bit of freedom

Nick Lachey has said that he and wife Vanessa Lachey are anxious to become parents.

The couple announced Vanessa's pregnancy in March and have since revealed that the child will be a boy.



Talking to US Weekly, Nick has said that the pair are busy with preparations for their son's arrival and "enjoying" the last few months before the baby arrives.

"We're just trying to enjoy our last couple of months of freedom here: getting the nursery ready, making sure we've got all our hospital plans together. All that stuff," Nick said.

"We're just excited to move onto the next phase and meet this little guy. You see him in sonograms and you feel him move - you just want to meet him! Hurry up and get out of there!"

Vanessa recently said that she thought she was having a girl at first because of her behavioural changes.
