Jon Hamm has revealed that he's up for playing Chris O'Dowd's on-screen love interest.

The Mad Men star joked about his love affair with The Campaign scribe Chris Henchy, saying that he has a thing for men named Chris.

After speaking about his involvement in politics, Hamm promised Vulture that he will never run for anything thanks to his shady past.

"My affair with Chris Henchy has not been well-documented over the years, but I think in this day and age, that's probably a good thing," he joked. "I don't know. He's a handsome man. He's also married, but so am I."

He went on to respond to O'Dowd's suggestion that they play lovers after having co-starred in two films opposite Kristen Wiig.

"Well, that's totally going to happen now!" Hamm said. "Good to know. It's totally going to happen. I think she's writing it now."

In June, Hamm was reported to be in talks to star opposite Larry David in an upcoming comedy.
