Justin Bieber was reportedly told to stop swearing on a recent flight.

The 'Boyfriend' singer was on a long-haul trip on Air New Zealand when the incident took place, according to TMZ.

The reports claim that Bieber and his entourage were loudly using a number of swear words during the journey until a female passenger intervened.

The mother of two reportedly asked Bieber to "stop yelling curse words and using that kind of language on a plane".

She allegedly added: "It's not appropriate."

A source said that Bieber was embarrassed by the incident and apologised to the woman.

Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard recently admitted that they find it difficult living next to Bieber because of "the music and the parties and the paparazzi", with Shepard joking: "I mean, it's like living in Lebanon now."

Elsewhere, a paparazzo who was involved in a car chase with Bieber recently became the first photographer to be charged under California's new paparazzi laws.
