Cruise and Holmes finally marry

Tom Cruise and Kate Holmes finally married yesterday in Italy.

The couple finally tied the knot in a Scientology ceremony near the Italian capital of Rome. However, the nature of the ceremony is not recognised legally.

Among the celebrity guests were Richard Gere, Jennifer Lopez, Jim Carrey, Will Smith and Victoria Beckham.

The couple managed to keep the actual ceremony secret from the public and media, many of whom were loitering outside the venue.
