Doherty bailed by police on drug charge

Pete Doherty has been released on bail by police following a drug-related arrest.

The singer was spotted "driving erratically" by the authorities, and subsequently arrested on suspicion of crack cocaine possession. Doherty had two passengers in his car, both of whom were arrested on similar charges.

All three were released on bail, but must return in December. The police are currently investigating and analysing the "substances recovered" from their persons.
