Michael Flatley has defied rumours he is seriously ill and left hospital.
The Riverdance star has spent two weeks at the private London Clinic where he was fighting stress and a viral infection which, according to some reports, threatens his career.
He has now left the clinic, however, with his wife Niamh, telling reporters: "I am on the mend." He has cancelled his upcoming 20-date tour but, according to the Sunday Mirror, now intends to return to performing soon.
Flatley was yesterday due to fly back to his home in Ireland.
