The Duchess of Cambridge attended a cocktail party to celebrate the UK's Creative Industries and support the government's GREAT Campaign at the Royal Academy of Arts in London last night (July 30).

The 30-year-old future Queen, who wore her hair in an elegant chignon updo, attended the reception without husband Prince William and looked chic in a simple dove grey dress designed by Serbian-born fashion graduate Roksanda Ilincic.

Prime Minister David Cameron greeted Catherine upon her arrival, and is reported to have later revealed that his favourite part of Friday's London 2012 Opening Ceremony was when Prince William had informed him: "I don't know if you know, Prime Minister, but my grandmother is a great fan of Dizzee Rascal."

Other glamorous guests to grace the red carpet included a leather-clad Holly Valance, a suited Nick Grimshaw, designers Henry Holland and Stella McCartney, Claudia Winkleman and The Voice's Tyler James.

Hollywood movie producer Harvey Weinstein, model and actress Lily Cole and Fearne Cotton were also in attendance.
