'Seinfeld' star in racist rant outrage

Former Seinfeld actor Michael Richards is embroiled in a storm over racist comments he made during a stand-up gig in Los Angeles on Friday. The remarks were captured on camera and uploaded onto website TMZ.
The footage shows Richards - who played Cosmo Kramer in the hit comedy - verbally remonstrating with two African-Americans in the crowd who had heckled him. "Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a f***ing fork up your ass," shouted Richards at one of them.
When the other continued to heckle he responded: "You can talk... you're brave now motherf***er. Throw his ass out. He's a n**ger! He's a n**ger!"
Richards' behaviour has caused outrage in the United States and many insiders believe his media career may be over.
