The bar's management confirmed on Wednesday (August 1) that allegations of assault against the star will no longer be pursued.
"While we will continue to investigate this matter internally, we are hopeful that this will put an end to the matter and allow everyone to get back to enjoying all that our great city has to offer," read a statement from the bar obtained by CNN.
It was reported on Tuesday (July 30) that an arrest warrant had been issued for Gooding Jr following a complaint from the bartender, who alleged that she had been shoved against a wall during an altercation between the actor and other patrons.
However, Gooding Jr's spokesperson said on Wednesday that there was no warrant and added that the incident had been a "misunderstanding".
The Academy Award winner is filming Lee Daniels' new movie The Butler - a portrait of long-serving White House butler Cecil Gaines - in New Orleans.
