Miley Cyrus home stormed by armed police in shooting hoax

By
Miley Cyrus reportedly had armed police show up at her house after emergency services received a hoax call claiming a shooting had occurred there.

911 operators received a tip last night (August 1) that shots had been fired during a break-in at the Hannah Montana star's Los Angeles home.

Armed policemen and firefighters raced to the scene, only to discover that the property was secure with nobody home.

Law officials have since told Gossip Cop that they believe the hoax was the work of a notorious "911 abuser".

"We believed there was a crime in progress," they said, confirming that an investigation is set to be launched.

Cyrus has recently been visiting fiancé Liam Hemsworth on the set of his new movie Paranoia in Philadelphia.

A report emerged recently that the 19-year-old has been driving Hemsworth "crazy" during filming and has even been told to go home.
