Blake Lively stars in 'Drive' Nicolas Winding Refn's Gucci ad - video

A preview of Blake Lively's new advertisement for the Gucci Première fragrance has debuted.

Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn helmed the new commercial, which sees Lively in scenes alternating between the the Sheats Goldstein Residence in Beverly Hills and a desert film shoot.



The 30-second video is actually a preview for a short film, which is to premiere on Saturday, September 1 in Venice, Italy.

Lively was announced as the new face of Gucci Première in June, after previously endorsing Chanel's Mademoiselle bag collection.

The Gossip Girl star said last month that she has "always looked up" to Gucci because the brand "represents strength".

"In their designs, in their images, in what they stand for philanthropically, and especially in their fragrance... I couldn't be more proud to be working with Gucci and its heart, Frida," Lively said.

Photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott are handling the print campaigns for Gucci Première.
